Founded in 2005, Carl Zeiss Vision was established from the merger between SOLA Optical and the ophthalmic lens division of German manufacturer Carl Zeiss.

There are 200 million people wearing Carl Zeiss Vision lenses globally. Every second, somewhere in the world, two more consumers choose Carl Zeiss Vision lenses.

In the Asia Pacific region, Carl Zeiss Vision is headquartered in Adelaide, servicing Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India and China, South East Asia, Japan, Korea and the Middle East. As well as being the commercial hub for the region, the Adelaide site is home to one of two Research and Development facilities for Carl Zeiss Vision globally.
